Hitch Hiking

Hitch hiking is a good choice for those tourists who have enough time for travel and want to learn more about country and local people.

In Slovakia hitch hiking is a favorite mode of transport especially for students.

Occasional hitch hiking demands no financial contribution to the driver. But if the destination is longer it is polite to ask the driver whether he is not expecting some kind of contribution for his good-will. Car drivers are often happy to find a companion and do not ask any form of contribution.

Whil hitch hiking whereevr in the world not only in Slovakia, it is reccomended to be careful, note the car plate and not to get on a car with suspicious driver or passangers...
